Pair of Antique French ‘Sevres’ porcelain lidded pot pourri and gilded bronze lidded urns, 1804-1809.
The urns having a rich red ground with gilded panels, the domed lids with gilded bronze eagle finials, below are gilt bronze ‘wave’ pattern air holes to realease fragrance from the interior. The globular bases having three oval finely hand-painted floral panels with gilded foliate surrounds, the urns on gilded bronze tripod supports, with three gilt-bronze standing eagles.
Each urn having the “M. Imp le de Sevres” 1804-1809 mark painted to the underside of the lid. Condition is very good, no damage or restoration.
