A beautiful hanging lamp from the Netherlands, manufactured around 1930 in the style of Dutch manufacturer GISO.
The appealing design of the piece gives it a lovely art deco touch. Made of high quality white lacquered metal with an aluminium shell underneath. This use of materials gives it a very unique style, especially when lit! It gives an illusion of emiting a diffused light while truly the light source reflects on the material in different directions. This makes the lamp a truly eye-catching an most interesting design. A lovely find of early / mid-20th century design lighting!
Marked into the shade as shown in photos.
It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
