An interesting Italian Brass Hanukkah Menorah Lamp made in a unique fashion around the 1800’s.
Hanukkah lamp is attached to the lower part of the backplate and is shaped as a fully formed menorah with eight oil jars on eight separate foliate branches.
Framing the backplate are two palace columns with foliate patterns forming an entranceway with a shell-designed portico with an applied hanging ring at the top.
A hand grasping a cruet protrudes from the top left of the inner backplate, to the right, a servant lamp juts out from its side, and a rectangular drip pan is attached at the bottom
