Early 19th century, a set of an oversized mortar made of hand crafted white marble with a wooden Oakwood pestle, in good condition. This fun set was on display in a pharmacy in Milan. These simple tools have been used from the Stone age to the present. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1820, Italy.
