Klaus Hempel
After studying at the Berlin School of Fine Arts, Klaus Hempel began his career in the 1950s by working for the Hülsta furniture company. He then founded his own design studio in Munich in 1960, where he worked for many German companies, such as BMW, Siemens and Miele.
