Two Large Dutch Delft baluster vases with floral decoration of a flower basket. These vases are so-called knobbel vases, after the ‘knob’ at the top rim. The vases are beautiful and full decorated with floral ornaments with as main decoration baskets with flowers, in a wonderful deep blue. The overall painting is in Chinoiserie and was inspired by the Chinese porcelains from the Kangxi period.
Vases of this size are very hard to find, see the last picture for a comparison with ”normal” size vases.
The vases are in very good condition, with some restored chips to the top rims and one vase with a chip to the base. All quite normal for vases of this age.
