Regency Plaster Statue of Hebe by Humphrey Hopper. The statue is dated 1820 and features the Goddess Hebe holding a brass oil lamp with a glass shade. The statue is standing next to an Eagle, signed verso, together with a later painted plaster pedestal. Signed and dated ‘Dec 15. 1820 / H. Hopper London’.

Condition:GoodGood structural condition. Repainted. Restored break to the right shoulder at join of arm. The signature and date are faint . Some losses to the surface at the back of figure and eagle which is overpainted. One small drilled hole to the back.
