Regency Bonheur de Jour or Ladies Writing Desk
This is a rare piece indeed has a drop leaf in each side and a drawer to the front, the table has an undertier which has a deep kneehole, the reason for this being so large is to allow the user who would have been wearing a crinoline to sit in comfort
The desk in very good condition for its age, minor signs of use only
This is an unusual piece to come across and a delight to look at it would work very well in a study or in fact any other room
The table is 37” long when fully open 21” closed, 25” deep and 29” high
