Pair of hand carvings made from fruitwood that most likely came from a surround of a door in an 18th century home in the Netherlands. The carvings depict ribbons and carved moldings, like framing elements. These include family names and armorial plaques, and end in tassels for an added elegance. They are a beautiful set and would look great mounted on a wall. The left carving measures 9.5 w x 2 d x 44.5 h, and the right one measures 10.5 w x 2 d x 44 h.
