Vintage Design
This Rare and Iconic Austrian Mid-Century Modern brass table or desk lamp was designed by Karl or Franz Hagenauer ca 1955 and produced by Werkstätte Hagenauer Vienna. It features a sculptural construction with cast iron foot, the system of brass tubes to provide movement which was patented by karl hagenauer in 1951, and a dark grey lacquered shade with white interior. It´s wiring works perfect and it is ready for use, it features one E27 Light socket. This important piece of modernism is in all original and wonderful condition, just the wiring has been renewed. It´s pure and modernist design will be perfect for any midcentury or Scandinavian Modern interior. It can be used as desk lamp as well as for side or bedside tables and will be a perfect Highlight!
