From the southern Caucasus, this good condition long piece presents a dark indigo blue field decorated with a diamond lattice enclosing row by row reversing botehs, but all in one general direction. Madder red main border with ivory, yellow, near black, cerulean blue, powder blue and khaki hooked elements. Both minor borders, in sand and goldenrod show flip-flop meanders and profile florets. Wool foundation, symmetric knots, medium weave. Elegantly rustic. Measures: 3’5” x 8’9”.
