Bronze Bouillotte lamp, France circa 1800.
Bronze Bouillotte Lamp with red and gold painted metal shade, French, circa 1800. Louis XVI lamp with 3 curved arms in the shape of swans with fish-shaped tails on an urn with round drip tray with openwork edges. The light points in the candlesticks have been replaced to put in light bulbs. (electric 240V). The hood is adjustable by the arrow on top of the hood under the handle with which you normally carry the lamp with you. The red painted shade has a gold painted scene with a flower vase between garlands and a harp with laurel leaves.
The height of the lamp is 62 cm.
The shade is 34 cm diagonally.
