A fine and rare early 18th century Queen Anne black Japanned pier mirror. The two original, mercury plates with bevelled edges enclosed in a tall, shaped frame decorated with oriental buildings to the shaped crest and, chinoiserie figures and exotic birds to the sides.

Condition:FairWear consistent with age and use. Glass replaced with using the highest quality ‘antiqued’ glass with hand-honed slight bevel to the edges and natural looking aging. Almost indistinguishable from 300 year old mirror glass.
