Marvelous small wooden sideboard designed in the 19th century of fine Italian manufacture.
The sideboard has a very solid base of rectangular shape made entirely of solid and valuable wood, very durable and elegant in its workmanship.
The lower part is created by a solid wood rectangle, with two large central doors, which can be opened by means of a lock with a special patina brass key. Above these two doors is a long, chunky cypher that runs the entire length of the base, which can be opened with a round brass handle original to the period.
Above this base is a beautiful red marble top, simply wonderful. Above this rectangular base is the top, above which are two beautifully carved wooden columns. Next to these carved columns stands the actual upper structure of the cabinet. This leaves a central compartment for displaying any object or foodstuff; in the background a rectangular mirror has been applied, adding to the grandeur of the room.
Above this we see another horizontal rectangular block, created by three doors, two small and narrow side doors and a larger central one, all made of a high-quality and durable frosted and carefully worked clear glass.
The two side doors have a special woodwork: in fact, a kind of large square grid has been created out of thin wood, which adds to the eccentricity. The real decorative eccentricity is represented by a sinuous frame created by curls, with an oval woven wooden element in the centre, creating unparalleled elegance. There is a single light-coloured wooden shelf running the entire length, suitable for displaying plates and collectibles.
Above the sideboard, there is a very imposing frieze with a rigid, geometric shape, which crowns the sideboard itself.
The sideboard is suitable for important and elegant rooms at least as elegant as it is.
