Antique Japanese Meiji Period Cast Iron Foo Lion Censer, Incense Burner

Oh so cute! A Meiji period cast iron censer modeled as an adorable “fierce” small foo lion. Traces of gold finish over a brown iron. Masculin body, upright tail with lots of curliques. The lion’s face/mane forms a removable lid. Fragrant smoke can come out through the mouth and eyes! A collectable as well as adorable censer.
No markings.
Condition is very good for its age.
