What a piece! Based on the early George II chairs which are circa 1740, this is a later early 19th century example which is circa 1800. The arms have beautifully worn through the paint to show the raw timber, this takes decades and in this case centuries to achieve and really helps show the honesty of the piece
The paint finish is original and nicely aged, it is mottled and rough, exactly as you would hope to find it
Condition wise, the end of the left foot has been missing for some time, I can have it restored for the cost price by my cabinet maker, otherwise it has just good honest patina throughout

Condition
Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition.
Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
