Very nice warm colored antique French Louis XIV from the 18th century.
The monumental trumeau mantel came from a modest Chateau in the middle of France, during the end of the 19th century it was converted from a big wood burning mantel to a decorative piece with a nice stove in front.
To make it work the flue went thru the top of the trumeau straight in to the chimney.
The mantel has been restored and supporter where necessary.
Are you looking for a great eyes catcher, this should be on the top of your lists.
