Measures: 4 stools: D 46.5 x W 46.5 x H 51 cm
2 benches: D 46.5 x W 82 x H 51 cm
The six benches consist of four stools and two benches made in Turin, (Italy) in the neoclassical era, in the Early 19th Century. The structure is in lacquered wood in yellow ocher, light blue and ivory white.
All the seats have a carving that draws the frames in relief that create decoration and movement, accentuated by the use of different colors of lacquering. The legs originate with a capital composed of polychrome rings. From these originate the fluted legs and truncated cone. The foot is carved with leaf pattern. The benches are finished on the four sides and therefore can be placed in the middle of rooms without necessarily having to be placed against the walls.
This is a rather rare set to be found on the market for the number of seats that compose it. They can therefore be placed to support living rooms, next to furniture and to complement sofas and armchairs, as well as being placed in entrances or corridors.
Very elegant and decorative, characterized by a pleasant light color, they are easily inserted in many contexts. The neoclassical taste is in fact very well suited to antique or modern furnishings.
They have already been restored with a cleaning and structural consolidation in order to make them very stable and usable.
