19th Century Qing Dynasty Altar Console Table with rustic patina. Original 19th century Qing Dynasty Rustic Altar Console Table. Solid elm wood of traditional Chinese joinery a beautiful console table having wear commensurate with it’s age and us. A specail console table with “Giants arm” support braces to the underside of the top. Having tiered meander carved spandrels to the front side of the table. Legs tapering to shallow hoofed feet. The table has a brownish plum color to the wood which is the original lacquer un touched. In good condition, somewhat rustic or distressed as the finish is concerned, the design remains elegant.
