A beautiful set of four (4) square majolica faience French plates, circa 19th century, France, Europe. Piece showcases Art Nouveau floral and lace motif. Each piece is unique in design. Scalloped edges, botanical features, and colorful majolica design enliven the space. Colors include ivory, red, pink, green, blue, purple, yellow. Demonstrated shown as jewelry dish. Piece can be used for entertaining/serving hors d’oeuvres. Set can also be used as bread and butter plates. With makers’ mark “Sarreguemines” on reverse of each plate.
