A lovely size, early 18th century oak dresser base with two drawers over geometric moulded detail. A moulded three planked solid oak top and the front of the dresser features geometric applied mouldings to the drawer fronts. The two large working drawers, which are butt jointed, oak lined, incorporate their original turned oak knob drawer handles. All raised on front turned baluster legs with square block legs to the rear. The backboards, inset moulded side panels and drawer linings are constructed of solid oak. This dresser features a rich brown original oak colour and patination. England c.1720.
