A Swedish painted wood cabinet from the 18th century. This antique storage cabinet from Sweden has an overall rectangular shaped top, which overhangs a case with a single door. The doors are flanked with rounded halved column carved front side posts (whose design is repeated in the top front corners), and raised on bracket feet. The door is decorated with a raised panel with arched top, secured with a wooden latch, and opens to reveal an interior shelf for storage. The overall color is a lovely teal blue with much of the wood grain throughout. This versatile Swedish cabinet from the 18th century will make a beautiful case piece for your kitchen, living room, office, or perhaps in a bathroom filled with linens and decorative items on top.
