Vintage Design
This standing lamp convinces with its simplicity, elegance and its “clear shape”, as is propagated by the manufacturer. The filigree steel frame is painted black and designed as a classic tripod. The round, slim umbrella is formed from a kind of structured plastic (Lystra). It is simply put on the frame from above. The upper edge of the diffuser is folded and is on the carrier of the frame. The peaked material is translucent and shows a structure. In materiality and color, the frame and shade form a wonderful contrast. The cable is run within the frame and fixed on the foot on a ring. The verification takes place via an advertisement from the manufacturer in the “Schöne Wohn” journal from 1961. (see Scan).
